I love it when the foundation blends into the skin so well that you can’t tell the difference between makeup and natural. Personally, I’m a person who likes to create natural looking skin which looks plump and supple, rather than smoothing out the canvas to a blank matte state. I find that’s too cakey for my tastes (it works well in photographs, but not in day-to-day life).
Easiest way to create a natural finish is by misting your foundation brush (make sure it’s a brush- NOT a sponge) with some water (think, Evian or Avene Eau Thermale) before using it to blend your foundation. It thins the formula a bit, making the coverage more natural rather than caked on. Airbrushed foundation is usually very watery and it sinks into the skin, drying very quickly, rather than sitting on top. Spritz away!
